March has been a busy month here at Tavey House, filled with a variety of activities and memorable moments.
One of the most exciting updates this month is the completion of our dining room renovation. It’s now fully in use, and everyone is enjoying the refreshed, comfortable space where we gather to share meals and enjoy each other’s company. The new look has certainly brightened the atmosphere.
In addition to the renovation, our ladies and Gentlemen have been spending quality time in the garden, enjoying the fresh air and tending to the plants. The daffodils are in full bloom. Many have also been busy creating beautiful craft items to share with their families, which has been a special way to express creativity and stay connected with loved ones.
A special highlight this month was the visit from Kane, the therapy dog. He certainly dressed for the occasion. It was lovely to see how much joy he brought to everyone.
Music has also been a big part of the month’s activities. We were lucky enough to host a performance by a local ladies choir, filling the air with beautiful songs which everyone sang along to lifting everyone’s spirits. To wrap up the month, we had Steve visit with his lively singing and great sense of humor, creating plenty of laughs and bringing a lighthearted finish to the month.
And of course, we were thrilled to see some sunshine this month, giving everyone a hopeful reminder that brighter days are ahead.
It’s been a wonderful month of creativity, music, shared moments, and a beautiful new dining space. We look forward to what April will bring.
